My older brother, Jeff, lives outside Denver Colorado. He was getting ready to take his Dental Boards and asked if I would come out and be his assistant. So i was able to fly out and spend some time with the fam!! Friday was spend in the Dental School helping Jeff. It was fun to see him working, since i've been doing this for so long. He did great!!! I was a mean sister and played a joke on him, not very nice but I couldn't resist. After each section of a procedure, the patient had to be taken upstairs to get graded. If something was done wrong, they would send back a "Pink Slip". usually it wasn't a good thing, sometimes it was fix this or that but mostly it meant fail. So on the way down after the first grading we were walking down the hall and turned to see Jeff standing at the end, just waiting to hear. So i gave him a sad face and he was nervous. I'm glad (and I think he is too) that I did it then and not on the second procedure, he was nervous about that one and would have totally believed it. Anyway, it was a fun day and he did a great job! Just found out yesterday that he passed!!!! Congrats Jeff and family.
Saturday he had more procedures to do but didn't need me there, so I got to hang with the girls!!! First we went to their soccer games. Kasia's was first, I stayed with her when Lori and McKinsey had to leave for her game.
Kasia is a good little soccer player!! She got to play all different positions, it was really fun to watch. Even though her team got beat...we lost count after 9 or so. She still had fun and was upbeat after, didn't let it bring her down. Great attitude to have!!!
And miss McKinsey, she is quite the player too!!! When we got to her game we heard she scored 2 goals already!!! Way to go! She is so bubbly and fun to watch.
After soccer we got yogurt and then got ready to go to the reservoir. The girls had fun building sand castles and creations while I was trying to share what little knowledge I know about how to use a camera with Lori. I was fun knowing what to change to get your pictures to look how you want them. so hopefully I helped :)
When we were packing lunches, Kasia decided she didn't want a boring old sandwich. She packed a hard shell taco....but as you can see from her face, it wasn't the best. she had about 2 bites and then was done.
McKinsey was practicing her spelling in the sand...it was so cute Ant Tia and Unkle Scott. She spelled out her name, Kasia and Lori too. they are both growing up so fast!

After the beach, we played a few games at home and then we all went to a new park that opened. the girls are quite the little monkeys! they were climbing over and around and through whatever they could.
Jeff and Lori even got in on the action!
All in all it was a fun trip. I was sad when I had to leave on sunday. Thanks Kasia for letting me steal your room for the weekend. Thanks Kinsey for the cute picture on my bed. Thanks to Lori for all the food and to her family for letting me crash their party. Thanks Jeff for the reason to come out and for everything! You guys rock!! Love ya
