our reception

just a few favorites from our reception. one of our favorite things was the photobooth! we love looking back through our sign in book at everyone's pictures. greg, jalaine and lexi are looking good before going in. family pictures of both sides. scott's dad surprised us with an ice sculpture. it was awesome! we didn't know what it was going to look like until they brought it. thanks to sandy and elvin and Ed for getting it for us! i loved it!! i was sad though because it melted after only a few days. when it melted i wanted to save the rose but it came out white and not looking too good instead of pink. oh well, good thing i have pictures!

more wedding

I have only a few pictures of family from the temple...my dad's camera decided to have a melt down that day and the other family pictures are too small to really see. but these are some of my favorites! my cute niece, McKinsey, wanted to wear her "wedding dress" (which i gave as a birthday gift for her 3rd birthday. she wanted a wedding cake for her b-day cake and wanted it all wedding). it was really cute. i especially loved that she didn't smile until she was holding the flowers :) my sister Brittany is getting married herself in july so it will be fun to reverse roles.

I got the cd from my dad so i thought i'd throw on a few of our wedding photo's. this first group obviously is from the Mount Timp Temple. it was a beautiful day!

I finally worked up the guts...

well, i was a little nervous, but i got my hair cut!!! thanks lindsay for cutting it. i love it! i think scott was more nervous that i was...he's never seen me with short hair before so this was an adventure. he said he loves it so we are both happy it turned out cute!

HONEYMOON!!!

We went on a cruise to the caribbean!!!! it was a blast, we had such a great time and we didn't want to come home :( here are a few picts from the trip...

JAMACIA!!!



this was our favorite shore tour. we got to be shark bait! we went to dolphin cove and they had a little show and we were the bait, we went into the water with the sharks and sat down on a little log and scott and i got to hold an 8 foot shark on our lap. we each got to feed it...which freaked me out! i had to tail of the shark and it jumped when the food was dropped in front of him! i have a good picture but i'll have to scan it in. anyway after we held it we got to snorkel witht he sharks! crazy!!! it was a little scary because the water was a little dirty so you couldn't see very well and ya there were 3 sharks in the same area as us!!! but we survived and still have all body parts! it was a lot of fun.

GRAND CAYMAN!!!



we wanted to do a few things here but indecision on our part messed that up. we were going to go parasailing but due to high winds that was cancelled. so then we wanted to do snuba (scuba diving but with an oxygen line instead of having tanks) but they only had 1 ticket, so we went on a pirate ship! it was fun, we were the only adults on board without kids :) which we are perfectly ok with. we sailed around the other ships pretending to shoot them then we got to go snorkeling! this was a much cooler snorkeling adventure because once you stuck you head under the water you could see EVERYTHING! it was awesome! the water looked like koolaid, but didn't taste like it :)

COZUMEL, MEXICO!!!!






viva la mexico!!! we rented a beach buggy and drove around the island a little bit. we went to a light house that had an amazing view of the ocean, the drive however sucked. it was really windy and the sand felt like a million needles hitting your skin. we went snorkeling again and again it was awesome!!! when we first got in the water we were swimming with a school of fish. they acted like it was nothing. we got to eat real mexican food :) which was delicious. the bottom picture is with our ship behind us! it was HUGE!!!!





all i have to say is YEAH FOR ICE CREAM AT ANY MOMENT!!!





this was our day at sea. look at that water! beautiful! we spent the day playing suffle board, but we don't know the official rules. regardless...i won!! the group picture is our dinner group! they were a lot of fun. the 2 couples on the sides are from miami, florida and the other couple is from NY! they were especially entertaining when drunk



this was our formal night. we got all dolled up and went to dinner. our waiters sang to us to celebrate our honeymoon. it was funny. they have oriental accents and they sang to the happy birthday song "HAPPY HONEYMOON TO YOU! kissy kissy kissy HAPPY HONEYMOON TO YOU! kissy kissy kissy" it was funny, we had a hard time kissing because we were too busy laughing!



this is at about midnight...yes we are eating pizza! we weren't exactly hungry but we got pizza just because we could :)




we spent a night in florida before coming home. our hotel was right across from the beach so we went for a stroll on the beach and picked up shells. it was a fun way to end our trip. sad it had to end but all good things do, right?
