Another cute new Nephew

yeah for a new nephew!!!  This is Hayden and Cheyenne's third, meet Grayson Hayden Poulson.  Born sept 11, 2011 at 9:11am!!  crazy, huh :)  I had the chance to meet him and hold him for a few minutes before they went back to arizona.  He is a tiny little cutie!  Welcome to the family!

The whole little gang

During the summer all of my nieces and nephews were in state and at Grandma and pa's house the same day.  this hasn't happened for a while, so we got an updated photo of them in order of age.  L to R: Kasia, Gabe, McKinsey, Hallie, Sam, Brooklyn, Leilah, Kade and Alex plus Grandma and Grandpa Poulson.  crazy thing is this photo is almost outdated...Hayden and Cheyenne are expecting a baby boy any day now, so excited!!!

Kade

This is my other cute february nephew I posted about earlier.  His name is Kade, he is a happy go lucky kind of kid!  while Rachelle, Brooklyn and Kade were visiting he had an obsession with his tongue.  He would stick it in and out and slobber all over.  so cute!!!

scratch n' sniff

I couldn't resist taking these pictures.  So while in the Grand Canyon's, Scott thought he remembered some trees there that smell like either chocolate, carmel or something else.  So we stopped when we saw some and started sniffing....and sure enough they were the scratch and sniff trees!!!  I've smelt them before, so i knew he wasn't just loosing it :)  So then he continued to show every tourist around us.  some looked at us like we were crazy, and some actually smelled them.  it was fun!!

Arizona/Grand Canyons

 Scott and I drove down to arizona to help my brother Hayden and his family move into their apartment.  It was hot!!!  We helped unload the trailer we took down and then the storage unit.

So i realized after the fact, that I didn't take many pictures.  I snapped these two cute ones before putting the camera down to move more stuff. Adorable little Leilah enjoying an otter pop on the gravel in hot,hot,hot arizona. isn't she so stinkin cute??!!

 One the way home we detoured to go through the Grand Canyons.  I have never been, so it was fun that we got to go. These pictures just don't do it justice, it was Amazing!!  We stopped at every possible pull off to look and take pictures.  (maybe because we didn't want to be in the car, but it was cool regardless of the reason)

Tia's birthday

So for my...30th...yes I'm getting old...anyway my birthday, Scott had a weekend of plans for us.  on Friday (day before my birthday) we went on one of our old school dates.  When we first started hanging out and dating we would spend a whole day together doing activities.  We would go to a movie, mini golfing and bowling, then out to eat.  you get the idea.   So we started the day by going to breakfast at IHOP.  I have been wanting french toasts, so i got it!  then we went to see a movie, Thor, it was pretty good.  After that we went bowling (now keep in mind we played volleyball wednesday night and we were both sore...so this didn't help me feel younger because i couldn't move!!!) after bowling we played a little mini golf.  We finished up just in time to make our dinner reservation at tucanos.  The food was delicious, for the most part (i tried a chicken's heart.  wrong, just wrong).  Then we went home and stayed up until all hours of the morning playing games.  The best was just dance 2 on the wii.  good times!!!  anyway, woke up saturday morning not feeling too great.  we both were sick, think it was from dinner since we both were.  so saturday we just kicked it.  We did go to a movie, but that was about it.  Scott had plans to go rent a canoe and go camping at payson lakes, but we both didn't feel up to it, so we'll save that for another time. 
All in all it was a fun day friday, we are counting that as birthday celebrations!!

24th of July

Kasia and McKinsey spent a few weeks out here with Grandma and Grandpa.  Jeff and Lori came to get them around the 24th so they got to enjoy all the festivities.  We watched the awesome firework show from the roof of my parents house.  Great spot!  The girls really wanted to join us so we all went up on the roof to enjoy them.   I think the girls were a little afraid they were going to land on us, but we survived and had a great time!!!

Scott's bday

Again, slow to blog.  Scott turned 29!!! in February.  We went out to dinner at Tucanos.  We were walking around the Riverbottom shopping area and there was a zoltar fortune telling thing.  so we got out fortunes. Good times.  I love spending time with my husband, he is AWESOME!!

February New Nephews

ok so i'm really, really slow at posting lately.  We have 2 new nephews in our family as of...february.  Loren and Rachelle had Kade in the beginning of february and Jeffery and Britt had Alex at the end of february.  I only have picts of Alex...sorry Kade.  still love ya!  Anyway, Alex came out with RED hair, and lots of it! He is so stinkin cute! congrats the my younger siblings (sorry it's so late)!!!

Colorado Rapids Game

So i'm really slow at posting, but this was from my visit to Colorado. My brother Jeff and his family live outside Denver and I went out with my parents over Memorial Day Weekend to visit. While we were there we went to a Colorado Rapids Soccer Game. It was fun...cold...but fun! We stuck it out and stayed the whole game, it only rained for a bit. These are my cute nieces Kasia and McKinsey, my mom and me.

New Baby

Scott became a GREAT UNCLE!!! His neice, Shantel, had her baby girl on Thursday April 22, 2011. Her name is Loa and she is beautiful!!

Brittany's baby shower

This weekend i threw a baby shower for my baby sis. She is having a boy in feburary!!! the name they have picked is Alex. i made this hanging banner in hopes she uses it in the nursery

We played a few small games so i decided rather than spend 15-20$ per gift i would make some. hopefully they were liked, i had a good time making them.

I had a lot of help in throwing this shower. my aunt dawna let us crash her house, again. my aunt ann, aunt dawna, sister in law cat and jeff's sisters and mom helped with the food. and most of all my mom did a ton as well. we made mini cupcakes too. all the food was delicious, so thanks all who helped!!

Brittany with her "diaper cake" although it isn't even close to a cake...not edible. but absolutely cute!!! A view of the back. the cake consists of 120 diapers, 4 bibs, 4 receiving blankets, 2 car seat toys, a car seat cover, 3 bottles, a onesies, pair of pants, a pair of socks, binki and a binki clip thing, a dishwasher basket, nursery freshners, a teddy bear and...i think that was all.

christmas...really late

i know i'm slow at posting this but these are just a few of my favorite picts from christmas.

Scott flying his helicopter. all the boys got one and they had a lot of fun flying them around. i'm surprised scott's still flies...he let me fly it a few times. i don't think it could be classified as flying, it was crashing!

so for those of you who know...this is perry! it was funny because when scott and loren opened the gift with these shirts my niece brooklyn, who is pictured here, pointed and said "perry!" so cute!!
